Bonac conducts research and development with full utilization of nucleic acid chemistry with the aim of contributing to the advancement in the discovery of nucleic acid medicines.

• Synthesis of nucleic acid

  

  Bonac has developed an original ingredient “amidite” to synthesize nucleic acid in an efficient manner and to create functional nucleic acid molecules. This enabled the synthesis of long-chain RNA.

• siRNA

  

  Stability in the body and adverse drug reactions were issues associated with the previous drug discovery using siRNA. Development of “Bonac Nucleic Acid” with a unique structure was attempted with the aim of overcoming these problems.

• New area

  

  Bonac approaches new areas such as miRNA and CRISPR from the perspective of nucleic acid chemistry. We use nucleic acid chemistry as our strength in the continued challenges in the area of drug discovery in nucleic acid which is undergoing remarkable progress.
